ESG Program (Environment, Sustainability and Governance)
One of Portugal Duty Free’s core principles is promoting sustainable changes and good practices in everything we do.
In June 2023, aligned with the strategy set by the ARI Group, we decided to launch the ESG Program.
Our ESG strategy sets ambitious goals for our business based on three pillars:
People, Product, and Planet!

At least 15% of suppliers in the Food & Souvenirs categories will be local suppliers.
Having a strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy is essential for our business.
This is the expectation of our partners, our teams, and our customers.
We are committed to operating in a socially, ethically, and environmentally conscious manner, aiming to be a benchmark for brands and companies in the retail sector. To develop, promote, and drive the ESG Program, but most importantly, representing all our teams, ESG Ambassadors have been appointed.
